Second warning will result in a point awarded to the other competitor

6. If contact is deemed malicious or excessive, or if blood is drawn, immediate disqualification will result.

7. If a student is told to "stay in the ring", the center judge will inform the student if they go out of the ring, a warning will be issued.

8. Rules of contact:

Controlled contact towards the face (no head punching)

Light contact to the head is permitted, but not needed

Medium contact to the body

No contact to the back or below the belt

9. Students should be given support and encouragement during the competition, but there should be no coaching from anyone outside the ring.

10. A competitors must be in the ring to score points; a competitor outside of the ring can be scored on, but cannot score.

PLEASE NOTE

All judges are just that, "judges". They will judge each competitor's form based on a standard, and how close that competitor comes in their opinion to the perfect form. Every judge must always exhibit the highest degree of integrity. Every effort is also made to have judges in a ring that are not from the competitor's schools, but this is not always possible. Any mistakes that are made can be attributed to being human and nothing else.
